(God’s Love, Jesus’ Death, And Your Eternal Life) Jesus died, you’re saved…you either accept or reject that contract! Now that’s pretty simple, right? John 3:15, 17 really make the contract clear, “That whoever believes may in Him have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world; but that the world should be saved through Him.” Romans 5:8, 10, “But demonstrates His own love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us…for if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.” That is how God loves us, and we cannot understand so great a love, we cannot understand so simple a contract. Don’t strain your brain on this; just believe Him and take the gift of salvation and with it the indwelling of the Spirit of God which God will manifest in all His glory, day by day, moment by moment. We can’t keep the contract very well on our end, God knows that. But He is not depending on us to keep it…He is depending on Him to keep it on His end. If you haven’t already—I urge you to sign the contract in your heart and enter into the salvation of the Lord. What a mighty God we serve. Listen to the entire sermon and be blessed. Do you really know what Jesus has done for you? Have you thought recently on the importance of being “saved” and your punishment for your sins—GONE, ERASED, ADJUDICATED by the shed blood and death of Jesus? I hope your hearts will be touched greatly as we share today and you will be blessed with a renewal of the knowledge of the power and importance of the gift God gave us with His Son Jesus. Knowing that you were saved from hell and damnation by a God who loved you even when you didn’t love Him! Read over John 3:1-21 and think on what Jesus has done…not just as INFORMATION but as something that can deepen your love relationship with Him. His love for us is proven…is yours? As you look at some of these names/titles of Jesus, may your picture of Him and understanding of what He has done for you be ever so sweet --

If you aren’t settled on the answers to these questions, then some of the solutions outlined are not going to help you. But I do hope you dive in with both feet and at least think on these things; but I do suggest you do that thinking at the feet of Jesus! The first question is “do you believe that Jesus is God?” I don’t mean Allah, or Buddha, or your ancestors or fire or lightening or the cosmos, etc. If you were believing a lie, wouldn’t you want to know it? So, it is not dueling belief systems I’m talking about here; it is what the truth is. When you know the truth, the truth will set you free. Next, do you love others as Christ loved the church; not when you feel like it or when it is convenient, but as He loved us? Read 1 Corinthians 13 again regarding what God says love entails. Do you overcome the world and its desires? This is a tough one in today’s “anything goes”, “morality is what you say it is” world! Remember, only when God is in your heart can you overcome any sin, any temptation, and any foolish decision that may come your way. Lastly, do you know that eternal life is in Jesus Christ? Eternal…now that’s a long, long time! Have you really thought this one out? If you know those answers, then you are on the road to not only knowing life’s answers, but living them! Previous "I Found The Answer" Messages© www.123rf.com Neil Armstrong (the first man to set foot on the moon) said, as he took his first step on the moon, “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.” As we look back to this monumental accomplishment for the human race, we remember the incredible effort it took to make this happen – the well thought-out plans, engineering and physical labor were astonishing. Man left earth to set foot on a separate heavenly body (the moon) in the summer of 1969. But the greatest leap of all mankind – past, present, future, and for all eternity – actually occurred over 2,000 years ago. In the small town of Bethlehem, Jesus was born. God incarnate stepped down from the heavens. “‘The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel’ – which means, ‘God with us.’” (Matthew 1:23) “The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” (John 1:14) This is what God did for this world because He loves us so much. Today, man needs to take a leap of faith on his journey to salvation and seek out the Face of God through Jesus Christ. © http://www.123rf.com It’s not about money or time…it’s about YOU. Giving all to Jesus is what everyone needs to do to develop spiritually. Beware, it will not come naturally, and it will cost you everything. This Christian life is anything but a boring life for sure…sacrificial, but not boring. To have Jesus scour the landscape of your life and weed out, and sometimes tear out, all that is unclean and profane is a task of love and honor. No, I’m not crazy–it’s the love of God that propels Him to do it and the honor of mankind to receive it. So it’s not what you DO–it’s who you ARE in Christ. Being surrendered to God means you constantly put aside what you think, what you feel and what you want. You’re not left an empty void, though…by putting away YOU (the lower), you get God (the Higher). When you do that, you get God doing the thinking, wanting and feeling. So give it all to Jesus…He’s waiting for you. “Look at the new thing I am going to do. It is already happening. Don’t you see it? I will make a road in the desert and rivers in the dry land.” (Isaiah 43:19 NCV) LISTEN TO AUDIOIf you have never put your complete faith in Jesus Christ for your eternal salvation, why not believe what God's word says and call on Jesus Christ to save you right now? © Melinda Nagy | Dreamstime.com Over the past 40 years or so there has been an unfortunate trend for the American male to be abdicating his responsibilities as the God-appointed spiritual leader and head of his family. The male’s failure to “man-up” under the strength, enablement and wisdom of God has evolved into a climate of weakness, softness, and feminization of his manhood. Because of his reluctance to lead, the woman has been forced to assume the man’s responsibilities in order to survive. How many households do you personally know of where the father is absent or has failed to lead under God’s authority? All too often this is the case, and the trend continues at an alarming rate. Paul wrote to the believers in Corinth, a city full of immorality and idolatry and said, “Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all be done in love.” (I Corinthians 16:13,14) What an appropriate message for our fathers today. Most any man can fertilize an egg, but godly fatherhood is another matter. Men, dads, fathers—“man-up” while there is still time—awaken from your sleep and slumber. (See Romans 13:11-13) Our families are waiting for your response to God’s calling. To all our fathers who have been faithful to God and are currently fulfilling their godly fatherhood responsibilities today, we are grateful. LISTEN TO AUDIO:© Grafvision | Dreamstime.com On May 13, 2012, we celebrated a National holiday called Mother's Day. Today, we'd like to share with you the message Pastor Mark Parsons gave us on that day. He spoke of how a Mother's love many, many years ago affects each and every one of us today and was a part of the fulfillment of God's plan. During the time of Israel’s captivity in Egypt, the Israelites multiplied immensely. The Egyptian Pharaoh said to his people, “Behold, the people of the sons of Israel are more and mightier than we.” (Exodus chapter 1). He feared that the Hebrews would overthrow his rule, and he implemented a plan, an evil one, to destroy the Hebrew males at birth, which failed. The king then ordered his people to cast the male infants into the dangerous and crocodile-infested Nile. With the Pharaoh’s plan in place, he could accomplish a two-fold purpose: first, the babies would sacrificially appease one of their major gods, the Nile, and secondly, Israel’s population would be controlled and managed. However, Moses’ mother, Jochebed, having faith in the Living God, hid Moses for three months not fearing the king’s edict (Hebrews 11:23-24). She then continued to trust God completely to protect and care for her son. She placed Moses into the Nile (the World) in a basket (God’s armor) well-crafted and sealed from the invasive waters and dangers beneath and above. We need mothers today, like Jochebed, who will do whatever is necessary to faithfully enrich and teach their children to walk after and trust God alone through Jesus Christ. We need mothers who will declare to the World (the Nile), “You can’t have my children, not on my watch. They have been sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise...” (Ephesians 1:13-14; 4:30) Audio: (Click forward button below to play audio of sermon and/or download file.)
