© www.sharefaith.com John 20:29, “Then Jesus told him, ‘Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.’” We tend to look for the physical evidence to prove or disprove a story or to confirm the truth. With today’s technology, we seem to think that the truth will be viewed by scientific process; and the human element of deductive reasoning is now a relic of bygone days. The world does not understand what it cannot see - fingerprint, retinal scan, photograph, video or DNA test. You cannot gene map the soul and spirit of the believer in Christ. You see, the evidence is hidden from the nonbeliever. It is only revealed in truth by grace from God to the eyes and heart of the “nonseeing” – “those who have not seen and yet have believed”. Take the step to believe. Open your mind to God’s sight for you. Let Him reveal the truth of His love and, by grace of God, save yourself from the darkness. He is the light! Let God bless your life and open your heart and mind to His gift of eternal life. If you have never put your complete faith in Jesus Christ for your eternal salvation, why not believe what God's word says and call on Jesus Christ to save you right now? © www.123rf.com We are facing some very important times ahead – for our country, the world, and each one of us individually. Choices are going to need to be made that will determine more than we can imagine. These choices will have an impact on each and every aspect of our everyday lives. How we determine what the correct choices are is of paramount concern. In order to make these decisions, we must know and be able to recognize what is true and what is not (discernment). But how do we do this? What do we look for? Where can the truth be found? Jesus is the Light of the world, and in His Word, the truth can be found. “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” (John 8:12) “But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God.” (John 3:21) If you have never put your complete faith in Jesus Christ for your eternal salvation, why not believe what God's word says and call on Jesus Christ to save you right now? Click here and let us show you how you can KNOW JESUS. We continue our series by looking at four more “truths” to live by…ah, yes, the real answers to life’s questions. We have to know and live the truth as God portrays, not as we see it; we have to practice righteousness and purity; we have to be generous and we have to make sure to walk it and not just talk it. There are some questions you should ask yourself too…get really honest with you and God on this. How much time do you spend on the Scripture and the pursuit of understanding them? What are your guidelines for righteousness and purity? Do you avoid situations that could lead to sin? Do you tithe or just throw a dollar or two in the plate? You do know that a “tithe” means 10% of your income (salary, social security, disability, oil royalties). Don’t be shy on this one…you really will reap what you sow! And lastly, in regards to walking it and not just talking it, are you one of those people who spout off scripture at every turn and yet don’t apply it to yourself? There’s an old saying, “Preach the gospel every day…and some days use words!” Live it, love it, learn it…c’mon, you can do that! [Scripture Reference: 1 John Chapters 1-5] If you have never put your complete faith in Jesus Christ for your eternal salvation, why not believe what God's word says and call on Jesus Christ to save you right now? Previous "I Found The Answer" Messages © http://www.123rf.com So many times our problems come not so much because we are ignorant of His ways but because we are ignoring the guidance from God! In Matthew 7, we are reminded of seven areas in our lives where God gives specific instructions on how to live it to His fullness:
Jesus taught these precepts by His Spirit and not as the Scribes with their tainted religious babblings. Many were amazed, but many walked away. What will you do? Once you've heard, then you are not ignorant...from here on, you can only ignore or obey Him. You choose! LISTEN TO AUDIOPERSONAL TESTIMONIES Pastor Linda shares a personal testimony with us prior to the morning's message. It is great encouragement to hear how the Lord is working in each of our lives. Listen to the personal testimony and/or download file. PRINT OR VIEW HAND OUT BELOW Multitudes of people in our world today are living a life of self-illumination. They have become a god unto themselves with their own carnal understanding of the true and living God. Their world views and philosophies are distorted being influenced by Satan, the god of this world. These people walk a treacherous path without understanding, without hope, and without life in Jesus. Jesus said, “The lamp of the body is the eye; if therefore your eye is clear, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!” Matthew 6:22, 23. When Jesus said, “Come follow me,” He was calling people out of darkness and despair to walk in His marvelous light of life. Jesus said, “I Am the Light of the world; he who follows me shall not walk in the darkness, but shall have the Light of life.” John 8:12. How about you? Do you hunger and thirst for the unfolding of God’s word to give you light and truth? See Psalm 119:130. Jesus, the Light of Life, is calling—follow Him now!
