I love the way Paul expressed his willingness and readiness to preach the gospel to whomsoever. He said, “So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also.” (Romans 1:15) He was ready and willing to release what filled his heart on the inside. (“…as much as in me is…”)
Elihu, the youngest of Job’s comforters said, “Behold, my belly is like unvented wine, like new wineskins it is about to burst. Let me speak that I may get relief; let me open my lips and answer.” (Job 32:19, 20) Is this your experience?
Can you say, “I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes…”? (Romans 16:1) Is your life so filled with a passion to spread the gospel that you feel you might burst if you don’t speak it? Are you willing? Are you ready? Do you speak out of the good treasure of your heart—every day?
