![]() As 2013 comes to a close, I would like to share my deepest gratitude to all who continue to support our “little church that makes a big difference”. It is a privilege to be used of God to work in this ministry on our journey to help the sick and the sorrowful. Hugging a drug addict suffering with HIV/AIDS and letting him mow your lawn to make a few dollars, bringing food to the less fortunate, or toys to some soldier’s family who needs a little help in this Christmas season, visiting the pre-op patient who is a bit frightened at the enormity of the surgery or drained at the prospect of its failure, buying a boatload of snacks for a prisoner who has access to so little of them…whatever form of God’s grace and mercy is extended to the least of these, is really a gift back to God. Your support allows us to continue to honor God in honoring His people. Let us all be even more determined to work as a team in encouraging, correcting, reproving, edifying, and praying for one another in order to achieve the work of the Lord…His salvation of souls. Some of us may be on the front lines a bit more than others, but because we are all a part of the body of Christ, as we go out…so do you! In that light, may we unswervingly continue to love, worship and serve God alone, to know and obey Him and His Word and untiringly advance His directives to our church and our community while teaching these precepts to others; for the purpose of equipping the saints of God for service, building up the body of Christ to the full stature of Christ so as to help bring about the shared vision of one nation under God! Yahoo—what a wonderful life! Let us give our time, tithe and talent to the Lord and watch Him manifest His great works in us, our families, our community, state and nation. You are important to God and important to us here at Great Hope Christian Fellowship Church. Keep up the good work, wherever you are and know how very much you are loved and appreciated. Many thanks again. God bless you all with a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year. This will be the last blog of 2013…see you around the corner in Jan 2014!
